Spirit is a runeword consisting of Tal-Thul-Ort-Amn for four-socketed off-hand armor and swords in Diablo II: Lord of Destruction. The monarch shield (the shield you basically have to go for when making spirit shield for a caster, as its got the lowest strength requirement out of any 4 socket shield at 156 strength) is tougher to find, especially when you first get to hell and are super squishy.
The 4 socket crystal sword is relatively easy to find, I got mine in NM cows when solo farming in probably 2-3 hours.
